Motorists are encouraged to avoid Burlington Street from Gilbert to Madison Street this afternoon, Friday, Sept. 5, due to a hydraulic fluid spill on the roadway.

Police and Public Works crews are on the scene diverting traffic and cleaning the area.

The slippery road conditions are a particular hazard for bicyclists and moped drivers. If using those methods of transportation, please detour to avoid the spill.
