Three-day program runs Feb. 15-17

Recreational Services will host an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America Personal Training Certification workshop at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Feb. 15-17.

The three-day workshop will include lectures, practical demonstration, and written/practical exams. It's designed for all individuals who want to become a nationally certified personal trainer.

The workshop will meet Friday, Feb. 15, 1-9 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 16, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 17, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. in Meeting Room 1.

To register, contact Angela Charsha-Harney at angela-charsha@uiowa.edu prior to calling 800-923-2346 to receive a 30 percent discount. The fee is $499 ($350 with discount) for the workshop and exams.
