Readings and activities for children at museum Dec. 16

The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History completes its fall series “Storytime Adventures” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, with readings about dinosaurs.

Storytime Adventure readings are followed by related activities that children can do at the museum and at home. The events are geared toward elementary-aged children and their families. For groups larger than 10 participants call ahead at 319-335-0606.

The UI Museum of Natural History features four permanent galleries exploring natural history and emerging scientific research in Iowa and beyond.
