Chicago dance company's summer intensive relocates to Iowa, brings in students from across the country

Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s Summer Intensive has a new home in the University of Iowa's Halsey Hall. The four-week program, formerly held in Los Angeles, offers advanced students ages 14 to 17 a one-of-a-kind experience.

Students attend daily ballet and modern classes and learn Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Hubbard Street 2 repertory, working with the artistic staff and dancers of the renowned Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. They also sprinkle in some yoga and Pilates for flexibility and strength training.
