People hit the IMU for ticket distribution

On Wednesday, April 25, President Barack Obama will visit the University of Iowa to speak about college affordability. On Monday, April 23, students began lining up at 6 a.m. to claim tickets to the event.

Iowa Now visited with some of the students outside the Iowa Memorial Union—hear their reactions and hopes in the video above.

See photos of Monday's ticket line. Everyone who turned out Monday got a ticket—a few remaining tickets will be distributed starting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 24.
