Work planned on T. Anne Cleary Walkway this summer

The T. Anne Cleary Walkway will be under construction from Jefferson Street to Bloomington Street Monday, May 14, through Friday, Aug. 10.

The section of the walkway between Market and Bloomington Streets will be closed for a portion of the construction period.

Access from the Iowa Memorial Union Parking Ramp to the walkway will be maintained throughout construction and all buildings will remain open. Access to select building entrances will be closed during a portion of the work; however, signage to alternate entrances will be provided.

University of Iowa event planners should keep this construction in mind when scheduling summer programming. Avoid use of the walkway whenever possible to ease congestion.
